Mexico suffered a devastating earthquake recently and has made an effort to honour the dead with one its well known traditions of the Day of the Dead.

I have always been fascinated by the tradition and have always been impressed with the art and the history which surrounds the spectacle which unfolds and why this tradition has captured peoples imagination.
I also love tattoos and the artwork depicted in the Day of the Dead celebration has a fascinating mix of dark aspects but mixed in with the living.
The photo's of the headsets and clothing and colourful flowers and clothing always intrigues me. I intend to ad Mexico city on my bucket list to be able to experience the celebration and see the art and people honouring their dead which is something to admire.
To Mexico and the people of Mexico I salute you for your resilience and your wonderful celebration.
This tote has got some of the artwork which I so love. Its hauntingly beautiful and something which I love looking at.
